I have been an owner of two yahoo groups, and am currently co-owner of another. I've not had any problems either. Had this group gone straight to yahoo when the archives went down, it would now have had archives for that period anyway. Seems to me that would have been a good thing. Lack of any archives at all is a very serious problem to me at least. Any possible yahoo problems seem pretty insignificant compared to no archives. I had been saving silverlist posts on my own computer, but just lost them all two days ago, while trying to fix problems with Netscape. Sigh.

Dear moderator
You seem to be having a lot of problems with the people who host this list server. I am moderator of three lists on Yahoo Groups and do not have any problems; you might want to consider a change. Henry Henry B. Mann, MD
