Do it. /. gets read by a far wider audience than the people posting 
to it, and it would be very hard for this to stay quiet in the 
broader media if it got significant /. traffic. You might not get it 
to progress to anything more mainstream than ZDNet or CNet, but you 
have a real shot at attracting their interest and they get read by a 
LOT of people.

Absolutely. It is also an example of severely stupid IT management at 
2 large financial institutions. This is a major security risk, and it 
appears that both of these places are simply ignoring their problem.

Hmmm... I wonder what they meant by that? They don't work with 
companies serving the gay community? I'm sure that's something their 
PR folks want spread widely.
