The main thing I do on my home network, is I use my broadband (with my ISP's blessing, of course) to run mailing lists, mainly as a hobby, by using a combination of SIMS and Macjordomo. Macjordomo is being ported to MacOS X. Heck, I'd even pay $100 or so for a MacOS X version of SIMS, as I think Communigate Pro might be a bit of over kill for my particular needs. If Glenn would cut his prices in about 1/2, I would more seriously consider it. Maybe SIMS is a good reason to keep a few old PowerPCs around, running MacOS 9.
I use postfix and mailman for this. I find mailman to be leaps and bounds ahead of majordomo (or macjordomo) which I used to use.
that said, a cheap SIMS for OS X I would probably find a way to pay for. I do beat my head against the postfix wall at least once a week for SOMETHING.

How you have felt, o men of Athens, at hearing the speeches of my accusers, I cannot tell; but I know that their persuasive words almost made me forget who I was, such was the effect of the,; and yet they have hardly spoken a word of truth.
