Can you post the 420 msg? This is usually caused by a particular SIP header that it may not like. It should write the unsupported header in the 420 msg as per RFC 3261.
Like this Supported: Privacy Which means the device does not support the Privacy related header. Is your Phone sending a Require header to SIPX? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jos?? I forgot to subscribe to the mailing list. I'm running SipXecs 4.2.1. Everything works fine, I have some ATAs hooked up and running. However I bought some Nortel 1535 sets and I can't get them to register. After attempting to register for a moment they display a "420 Extension not supported" error. The IP phones register fine with my ITSPs and with Asterisk, somehow they seem to work with everything except SipXecs and SipXecs seems to work with everything except those phones. I've tried changing every setting on the phones and SipXecs and so far no luck. Googling for "420 extension not supported" yields no useful information. The phones are manually configured as they have firmware 2.5 and I can't find 1.92 anywhere. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/ _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
