I think we are getting somewhere fast... (where i dont know).

The phone is behind a nat somewhere right? In that case, does that phones
firewall have a sip alg or stateful packet inspection turned on? If so, turn
that off... it could be a proxy or alg trying to sit between the phone and
the proxy server...
