Flex is not 'flexible" in that it does not allow for inbound calls to be sent on a port other than port 5060. If you are trying to support remote users and trunking, it means you use an external SBC and leave those roles unused in sipx, and let the SBC handle those roles. Karoo, Ingate and other can handle both remote user and trunking on port 5060, and can sit behind a firewall, or alongside them. My preference is behind them.
