Not sure if you can push this out, but, on the phone if you go to: Menu>Settings>Basic>Ring Type
It should have an option called “Attendant Calls” and you can set it to any of the ring types available on the phone. Some people cannot hear the other phone ringing. The old phone system (cisco) had an option to make the BLFs tone when they rang to get attention. I am trying to find a balance between having a line key and a BLF key. The line keys work for ringing and getting calls, however, they do not know when the line is busy unless I enabled shared line. I have been not using shared line because I have noticed weird issues with this feature enabled. We have migrated people to BLFs and they are fine using them for pickup, however, they complain now that they do not know the line is ringing unless they stare at their phone, He had to give one person both line and BLF for the same person.... trying to avoid this type of setup. I forgot how bad the users can get. User NOT LIKE Change.... We are running firmware 3.2.6.0314 and bootrom 3.1.6.011. Polycom 650s.
