  • One only needs to "convert notes" to edit prior notes. It's not needed to add notes. (0 extre steps)
  • To embed: <cmd><ctl>s, <return>, <cmd>r. (2 extra keystrokes vs <cmd>s)
  • To close after the last embed: <cmd>w and <cmd>d. (2 extra keystrokes)

Minimal extra effort for the benefits of Skim.
