There's no (useful) contact information. Moreover, after this behavior I don't 
feel like giving him the benefit.

As you say, it costs money. And it is certainly not clear that it would 
possible even after paying, because strictly speaking it should be rejected, 
even though App Store didn't do that here.

There's also a small matter of behavior. The fact that, strictly speaking, 
you;re allowed to does not mean you should take advantage of that. There's no 
cost in asking, and he didn't. Not even in the most minimal and legally 
required way. Quite frankly, this freeloading behavior I find the most 
upsetting, and if we can punish him for that maximally for this by removing it 
from the App Store I support that.

I don't know much about that. And also the icon is created by a third party, 
though specifically for us. But I would say that the icon also falls under the 
copyright. The copyright is also in the about box, not just in the code.
