Hi I would like to see Freedom Scientific bundle the skype scripts with new versions of jaws. In fact, I even go so far as to say that freedom needs to look at its updates technology so that skype set scripts can be updated from an update centre of some sort. I know it is quite possible for users of hal to update maps so they can have the very latest ones on their computers, so why not Freedom. So many blind users of jaws download skype, I would personally like to see Doug's work reflected in what is bundled with the jaws product. It would therefore follow that other script developers' products could be downloaded from the one place on the update centre idea I have. The scripts for skype are so good that I think it should be made even easier to get them. Is this feasible? I'll only post this one email as I don't want to end up going into a topic of freedom's policy on what is bundled with jaws, but I think the point is valid enough for the idea to be explored. If everyone bombards freedom with a request for doug's scripts to be incorporated into the package, eventually, freedom will have to listen to the skype community who use Doug's scripts.
