I doubt that the wu-ftp off 6.1 will run on a 5.2 system. I would expect
there to be library problems in the areas of libc, glibc and glibc2.
The problem with wu-ftp is a buffer overflow vuln that allows root access.
I think you are going to have to face up to upgrading the whole of your
RH.
