Yes, very common in any product. I buy a new product and pay new product price. It is a bad unit (Mfgr Fault). I send it back (At my cost for shipping) and they replace it with a refurbed unit someone else sent back and they fixed. Bottom line is I paid new unit price and double shipping for a used refurbed unit. That sucks. This will weigh in when I choose brands to buy.
