Hello Dan, Yes, "ixgbe pciex8086,15ad" is in driver_aliases (from boot, I know the editing driver_aliases is of no use on a running system)
This is the image that Robert Mustacchi posted June 18th and which is the same image I was using on the X10SDV-TLN2F in June, where it was loading the driver for the X550 just fine.
