I've got the BIOS setup in front of me now.
In the BIOS I selected System Setup (F9), then System -> SATA
Controller Options -> Embedded SATA Configuration.
IIRC I then selected "SATA Legacy Support" - the other options in
there are "SATA AHCI Support" and "Dynamic HP Smart Array B120i RAID
Support". My aim here was to disabled the HP RAID.
Now that I've done a reboot, it came up with "HP SATA AHCI", so it looks
like I didn't select the "Legacy Support" option.
FWIW the HP Microserver brochures and documentation (Gen8 and previous
models) leave you in no doubt that disk Hot Swap is not supported, but
as far as I can tell, this only applies to the HP RAID setup.
