I have had Vongae since February 2003 and have not had one problem. Hooked up through Adelphia cable, which goes out about once per month. They are crap.
Vonage does have a little echo at times, probably one in every 50 calls. Outstanding service....although you sometimes have to wait 30-40 minutes to speak with someone...growth pangs. Saves about $75 per month in taxes and phone charges compared with SBC and about $200 pr month on my business line. James A. After All, the Cellular System is often more reliable than the landlines in metropolitan areas. --------------------- www.djzooky.com The DJ Zooky Show -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John W. He feels it's due to SBC (DSL provider) problems rather than Vonage. They don't recommend switching the home line since 911 service isn't available, and when the next earthquake comes, having a POTS line may be your only connectivity.
