Thanks, Mark! Then insofar as there are few dropped packets-granted, a big
insofar-it sounds like it should work fine.

VoIP doesn't work well with wireless setups. IT's unfortunate, but true.
The quality degrades tremendously and occasional interference makes it sound
like a RealAudio Clip with dirty traffic.

Has anyone used Wi-Fi(5) anywhere in any of these Vonage set-ups? Would
their be any problems, tricks in wiring the Vonage/Cisco/Hardware to a
Wi-Fi(5) Access Point and wirelessly bridging to another Wi-Fi(5) AP?

I've had the Vonage unit for a few months now and it works well. Plug it
into any broadband source and you can make phone calls. The systems acts
just like a regular phone, including quality.

As far as conenctivity, I've tested it on a DSL line and two cable modems
and it works fine on all of them. In theory, you can hook it up anywhere in
the world and get service.

If you want to test it out, drop me a line and you can borrow mine for a
couple days. We don't use it as our main phone, mainly just to reduce the
cost of long distance.
