Hi,

I also have the same problem since Novembre 2009, I have bought three
ScanDisk CF but OpenBSD does not succeed to boot.
I have tried this recommanded card by Soekris.

   - *ScanDisk Ultra II CompactFlash 15MB/s 8GB (==> Freezes at boot)*
   - *Scandisk Extreme CompactFlash 60MB/s 8GB (==> Freezes at boot)*
   - *Scandisk Extreme III 30MB/s 8GB ( OpenBSD 4.6 also freezes at boot)*

I have got this type of messages and freezes :

*1 Seconds to automatic boot. Press Ctrl-P for entering Monitor.*

*Using drive 0, partition 3.*

*Loading...*

*probing: pc0 com0 com1 pci mem[639K 511M a20=on]*

*disk: hd0+*

*>> OpenBSD/i386 BOOT 3.02*

*boot>*

*booting hd0a:/bsd: 6563548+1052072 [52+345584+327881]=0x7e7ce8*

*entry point at 0x200120*

Any idea ? Thanks in advance
