I believe that the EMU 0404 was looked at by the folks at Flex-radio.When asked about this card on Teamspeak,  Bob, N4HY reported that they had problems getting it to work with the hardware/software. I don't know if this soundcard has been re-tested with the newer Flex-radio software. Well since Emu = Creative I wouldn't take their word on the specs .... Creative has a bad (unethical?) habit of stating the CODEC's spec NOT the actual specs of the finished card ... Emu originally developed the chips used in the Live! and Audigy cards back around 1990 and it was WAYYY ahead of anything else at the time .... The main reason the SDR-1000 speced so ARRL tested it was due mostly to the limitations of the Audigy 2 card they were using back then ... when tested using a Delta 44 the results were night and day ...
