uCLinux is available for the Blackfin Stamp board I have, which includes 
gcc. It must have been ported with a gcc cross-compiler running on a PC 
Linux system.

I've got a couple of the latest SHARC chips (1200 MFLOPS), and gcc for it 
(source code) based on the original ADI tools. I haven't really tried 
compiling it, though.
