Is your sound card internal or external and is it USB or RS 239 or what
ever that is?

In your Input window on SDRadio see what options it has listed in the
Inputs? Soundcard, USB, etc and then try out the options listed there
as inputs.

Note: if the SDR1000 does not stay on after its main software is turned
off, then you will not get it to work for you.

Look up "Virtual Audio Cable" on the Internet and download it since it
can give you a patch cable and then another option that might work if
all else fails. I can't guarantee it, but try it.
