Actually it's pretty easy. All that I do is run a copy of the PowerSDR program setup to use the sound card on the mother board. That sound card is then left unnconnected. The SDR-1000's I/Q is then fed to the sound card of choice that I use for SDRadio (or WinRad, Rocky, etc.) program.
So to tune in big steps you use PowerSDR, but the tuning with the panadpapter is done from within SDRadio. Doing it this way assures that there is no contention for the sound card resources.
