To complement the correct steps given by Beppe, I would like to add
that you have in addition to check the choice "Swap I/Q channels".
Flexradio decided to not follow the otherwise almost general rule of
putting the I signal on the Left channel (the tip of the jack), and
the Q signal on the Right channel (the ring of the jack), but just the
opposite. That's why I implemented that reversing option.
About SDRadio not being able to change the frequency of the SDR1000
DDS, the reason is that SDRadio in not born tied to a specific
hardware. It is a general purpose SDR program, that you can use with
whatever HW you wish. In my other program Winrad I am following the
route of separate DLLs for supporting different hardware.
Presently I have implemented two of them, one for the SDR-14 receiver,
and the other (not released yet, will be shortly) for the I0CG SDR-X
receiver. Other DLLs will be implemented as the case and the
opportunity will present.
