ECSS is useful if you can listen to only one sideband at a time,
otherwise you will hear the carrier offset, even though it might be
less than 1 Hz (slow pumping of volume).  True synch demodulation is
preferable for general broadcast listening, you utilize both
sidebands.  An example is the SAM demodulator in Power SDR (Was that
Phil Covington's?).  Something like that in Winrad would make the
system perfect.
