Whoops, I was commenting on the ECSS vs Synch question. I had totally forgotten that the ECSS in SD-Radio is in reality a Synchroneous detector, and as such will indeed follow the carrier (or wander with the lack of one). I still get better quality from Power SDR's SAM mode, but it is indeed possible that this is due to my receiver/soundcard combination. And besides, I love Winrad too much for everything else it does so elegantly. My only quibble is that I would like to be able to run it at less than full screen if I want to. I get around it by using two screens, but it would be nice to see my receiver and Winrad on the same screen if I'm using my laptop away from home.
