To be honest both Soft and Maya still need a fair amount of work done to
them: they each have their own weird blind-spots. I think the case for
using some of Soft's UI/ICE guys giving some of their expertise to Maya is
pretty strong, whichever way you look at it - not every Maya user has an
rnd team behind them, after all..
