Blur tech demo was quite impressive ( 2009 Dante's Inferno )...by it was customized as well....Jawanimation tech demo ( 2011 ) is pretty damn good, but then again customized using ICE...I saw lots and lots of people just build their own facial rig rather then using FR because of the jerky workflow
