Hi, I just came across this reply, I may be mistaken, but that may be partly because (as I recall reading or hearing) that the entire UI glyph sources were wiped by SysAdmins from the DS/XSI UI graphic designer's machine when he left. XSI & DS Interfaces were designed by Charles Migos, a remarkable graphic designer who later went to Apple. Other than a few buttons being replaced with more compact icons in later releases, this screen shot doesn't look much different from today. |
