Kit was getting a clearer and clearer picture of events at this base, and it
frightened her - badly. Because if this was indicitive of the rest of Spec
Ops... She decided that she would order a full scale evaluation of every
command under her control as soon as she got back.
"I will look into yourrr allegations, Mrrr. Rrrusco, because they concerrrn
me grrreatly," she said with all seriousness and respect. "Intelligence is
crrritical to Spec Ops and bad analysis is extrrremely dangerrrous, as you
unforrrtunately know all too well." She pondered for a moment. "How
widesprrread arrre these prrroblems" she asked, sure that unit commanders
talked and shared their complaints behind Brell's back.

"I see," she said, her tail flicking dangerously behind her. "I will speak
to them about it individually as they rrreturrn, also." She was so angry,
she wanted to simply relieve Brell of his command on the spot and take over,
but she couldn't do that, and that made her even more aggravated. "It will
be taken carrre of beforrre I leave, that I prrromise you, Lt. Commanderrr."

"Onto the final thing. You mentioned a possible firrrst strrrike forrrce
being assembled by the Carrrdassians. This is the firrrst I've hearrrd of
it. Could you enlighten me a little?" By her tone, Russco could tell that
she was very angry, not at him whatsoever, but that this was the first she'd
heard of this situation.
