        {OOC: other post, the one that was titled, "On to another post" had
some information about the command staff, so I will not rehash here.}

Upon examining the records for this post she found that their operational
reports were a bit lacking. It looked as if a junior officer had done the
write up. They lacked the depth of detail that one would expect. She
wondered about the mission slow down at this outpost. It was as if suddenly
they just cut their operations by 40%. It was a very strange thing. This
outpost was in a key area, at the crust of Bajoran, Cardassian, and
Federation space and the number and importance of missions had decreased.
They had been relying more and more upon unmaned recon probes than on actual
feet on planet operations. At such an imortant place in space she would
have thought different.

******  a touch later *****

    On her approach she got the same treatment as on Granite...

            "Approaching craft, this is a secure area. Please halt your
approach and identify your self, or your will be shot down." came a lively
voice, but some how still sterile.
