Kitanya made a note to look up Toadie's record and see why he was so afraid
of going back to earth, but she had another meeting to attend and she headed
that way, stopping by her quarters to pick up the other two PADD's with the
new CO and XO's orders on them. She went to the CO's office and waited for
the new commanders.

"Please, sit," she gestured, sitting behind the CO's desk. "Afterrr having
spoken to you and to otherrrs and independently rrreviewing the situation
herrre, I've decided that changes have to be made immediately.
Therrreforre, Brrrell and his XO arrre no longerrr in charrrge on this base.
They have been rrrelieved of theirrr commands and will be on the firrrst
shuttle back to Earrrth."

"No. I have anotherrr stop to make on my little tourrr, and besides, I've
alrrready found two people who I believe will make excellent commanding
officerrrs." She handed the PADDs to each of them. "Congrrratulations,
Brrrevit Commanderrr Rrrrusco,new commanding officer of Grrranite Outpost,"
she said. "And to you too, Lt. Trrrell, the new executive officerrr. As
soon as you've got time in serrrvice enough, I'll see you get yourrr
prrromotion to Lt. Commanderrr, prrroviding you do a good job, of courrrse."
