Ambassador Ra'aj stepped forward.  "We can understand the difficulties you
are currently facing," she replied.  "It cannot be easy to keep
communications running smoothly when the government has only recently,
abruptly changed hands."  It was clear from the tone of her voice that no
negative intonation was meant.  She was just clearly stating the facts.

"I am sure that with some time, the situation will rectivy itself."

"Thank you for your understanding, Ambassador," he said smoothly, "If there are no other questions, please allow us to escort you to your quarters."


The ambassadors' security details each followed one Venasian escort out to the respective rooms. The facility, if not up and running technologically, was definitely designed to please the senses. The ambassadors were led past several open courtyards and reflection pools, nice, open areas to sit, and everywhere there were signs of water. At least the ambassadors would find it fairly comfortable here, even if politics were tense right now...
