The A'amon family has slowly grown in power over the past generation, and the Council had become comfortable in its inaction to find a homeworld. Many citizens currently welcome, or at least are open to the idea, of Tal A'amon as head of our government, because it appears there is much action. All a smokescreen, of course. Most have been kept ignorant of the colony massacres and the takeover of Tkuka.
