"That does not mean that they did not come across readings that may have foreshadowed what was going to happen.  Jan Howser was studying that region of Jupiter when they identified the abnormality.  If we can identify some early signs of what was going to come,  then we might be able to start a hypothesis as to what  happened."
 
"Well, these guys look like they kept a tight regulation area. It should be easy to find anything of that nature by now."
 
The Betazoid nodded in response.  "I definitely agree," she said as she moved over to Gabe's desk and started looking over his notes.

"Well ma'am, I will prefer to leave you to your looking and get to a lab where I can lookover some of these readings better," he said.
 
Pweretza was surprised to hear the ursoids response.  She was not used to working with someone who balked his assignments.  It was her understanding that he had been assigned to check the lab over by the person in charge of the contingent from Spacedock.  Of course, the team from Spacedock was supposed to be giving free reign to do as the saw fit as part of the investigation.  Her black eyes studied the ursoid for a moment before responding.
 
"If you would like, we could set up a work station in your quarters so you can do your research in a more comfortable space."
