>"We could also use the holodeck to work with them and prove to them that
>we are worthy to be considered allies and friends."

The Klingon turned to look at her with contempt.  "We have nothing to
prove, human," he growled.  "They are defeated.  If they are too stupid to
realize that, then they are fools."

Tr'Lawsh touched his shoulder gently, and the warrior turned back to his
work, grumbling.

"He hasss a point," said Tr'Lawsh.  "We have defeated them in combat, which
isss all they ssseem to carrre about.  How elssse can we convince them to
ssstop behaving asss though we werrre eitherrr petsss orrr prrrey?  Theirrr
behaviorrr hasss defied logic thusss farrr.  Even the Vulcan obssserrrverr
left ssscrrratching his head about that."
"I am sure that our Klingon friends will be more than willing to agree that success in battle is not a guarantee of honor.  Before they can want to work with us, they need to not only respect us, but also to trust us."  She knew that being the least warrior oriented of the group, she was not exactly going to win over a ton of fans in the room.
