The Klingon's hands clenched, but he remained silent, glaring at his
screen.  Trust was not a big commodity to Klingons.  The Caitian, on the
other hand, reacted differently.  "Agrrreed," she said.  "But I have
trrried everrrything I can think of to get them to trrrussst me, to
trrrussst usss.  I have rrrun out of ideasss.  We trrreat them kindly,
thusss defying theirrr prrropaganda that we torrrturre and murrrderr ourrr
prrrisssonerrrss.  We trrreat them with rrresspect, and they sssneerrr at
usss.  We show them ourrr ssstrrrength by holding them even afterrr
rrrepeated essscape attemptsss.  We have trrried to get to know them, and
they ignorrre usss.  I do not know what morrre to do."  She sounded tired
of trying, the long frustrating trip back to Terra having taken its toll.

There was an unsaid sigh hanging in the air after the Caitian's comments.  The frustration was not Captain Tr'Lawsh's alone.  Daphne also had those feelings, and she had not had the hectic schedule that her companion had had to endure over the last few weeks.  "I am sure that nothing we have done has been in vain.  I am sure that it will take time to really make an impression.  They have not been with us for very long and have a lifetime of learning to overcome."

(Tr'Lawsh?)

"Did you want to talk with the big guy before trying the holodeck or after?  Or we could try dealing with him in the holodeck."

(Tr'Lawsh?)

Before they could really make a decision they were interrupted.  A Starfleet officer entered riding in an antigrav chair.  The officer was followed by a security goon, who waited outside.  In fact the officer in the chair was Rear Admiral Black.

"Good morning everyone.  What's the status of the prisioners and the interrogations?", he asked no one in particular.
