The Horta looked at him suspiciously, at least to the extent that Hortas
could look at anyone with any kind of emotion. "I'll see if she's
available," said the male synth-voice that emanated from the speech module
on top of the Horta. It shuffled over to its desk, fringe wisping
irritatedly over the floor, and hit the com. "Admiral, there's a Lieutenant
Commander
Garibaldi here. He says he wants to speak with you regarding a special
project from the CinC."
{OOC: My fault. I wasn't overly clear. This particular Garibaldi is a
Lieutenant Commander, not a flag ranking officer. My appologies. I took the
liberty of editinig the rank.}
There was a pause on the com, and a purring voice responded, "It's all
rrright, Naraht. Send him in."
The Horta shuffled around to face(?) the human. "The Admiral will see
you," the synth voice said, although there was no hiding the protective
growl. A fiercely loyal aide to be sure.
"Thank you.", he said not reacting to the aide's protective side.
Kitanya stood when Garibaldi entered, and bowed slightly to him, but not
much. He was, after all, junior to her. "Lieutenant Commanderrr, what can I
do forrr
you today?" she asked, offering her hand in the human way.
Taking the hand, "Thank you for seeing me, Admiral. I am in need of your
advice." His tone was quite professional, but hinted at a problem that he was
wrestling with.

"As you may remember, sir, I am leading an internal investigation into
suspected corruption of Starfleet officers. I have come upon some information
that is a bit disturbing, at the very least on a personal level, but it has
some major implications for Starfleet Command. "

"In my investigations I have turned up evidence that a few high ranking
officers at SF Command are working with, or at least on behalf of, the Bajoran
Ambassador. The Bajoran Ambassador, and certain members of his personal staff,
have been linked to various acts of organized violence, theft of surplus
Starfleet material, mis-use of Starfleet vessels, and what could be espionage.
One of these officers is a relative of mine, and a very close personal friend
of Admiral Lasiter. He is my uncle, Rear Admiral Marcus Garibaldi.", Joe
stopped there. He did not what to go on without letting the Admiral think on
what he was saying.
