careful consideration of the risks and benefits. After consideration, I would
like to have the three of you go, if for no other reason to increase the odds

success- all coming home alive and the security threat resolved."
"Oh, I fully agree that the three of us should go," Matt told him. "In a group
like that we do make an attractive target. I'm just saying that when it comes
time to dangle one of us out there.... You should let me be the point man on
this, so to speak. And I'd also like to point out that although I've spent a
lot of my life being a healer, I've also been a cop several times, a
professional soldier more times than I'd like to admit, an FBI agent, a Navy
Seal..... etc. I can handle myself in combat and in sticky situations a bit
better than the average MD."
"Your Op. Run it anyway that you want to. Just bring back the three Admirals
that I am sending out."
Matt nodded. "Sam, I've hated keeping this secret from you. I've considered
you a close friend and ally. I think you can understand why I can't discuss
this with many people, though, especially those within Starfleet. The British
Fleet learned of my secret once. I was held in a dungeon for three years
before I could escape, with their surgeons running all sorts of tests on me to
try and figure out how to make others like me."
"I imagine that is a constant concern.", Samuel answered before taking another
sip of his spirit. "I understand your reasons for keeping it a secret. Please
know that it is safe with me. Hell, I just might forget about it....", he
continued managing a jab at his illness.
"So, just how long do you plan on staying the Starfleet in this go around?"
