Hello, We have just subscribed to this list as our brand new server
was attacked and made into a spam machine for several hours. This is an issue of what server
owners can do to fight the constant attacks other than spend additional IT
hours to secure it. We would rather spend that money We traced the spammers to their exact location and names and
after researching the available options we decided to send out a cease and desist letters to all the parties that are involved in the
hosting of the offenders web site. Of course the spam itself was originated
elsewhere using Korean and We believe that any service provider that facilitates
services to individuals that are involved in illegal behavior, regardless where
the spam came from, should be held liable as they are also directly involved in
facilitating illegal services. Is there any standard, code of conduct, or law that could
help us in terminating the offender’s account with the providers? We would appreciate any input on this matter. Best Regards, Agatha Dydecka Pres. Business Development Blue Hub 212.679.3679 |
