OK, I'll bite.

But, even if we had a "perfect" email system, where NO forging, joeing,
or open relaying could ever take place, I bet we would still have:

     "All the kings' men, and all the kings' horses
      couldn't stop the spam brigade."

To "... end the spam era ..." we would have to change the mindset of
the spammers (in that they think they have a RIGHT to spam!)
