Perhaps I could ask you to clarify your statement. I don't know if you are speaking of the work to secure a server in advance of an attack, or to clean up the mess after an attack has succeeded in taking control of the system. You mention this was a brand new server - what kind, and what actions had been taken to prevent attack?
