Prior to the update, everything was working fine, and Spanning Sync Tools indicated I had no issues with Contacts or Calendars. I updated from 2.x to the 3.x release early this morning. Shortly after, every contact I had set to sync to Google was duplicated in my Address Book, with the duplicates having missing info, like birthdays and relationship info deleted. At this point my Google (online) contacts seemed okay.
So I deleted the duplicates in the Address book by examining each one and keeping the ones with the right info. Then Spanning Sync kicks in, and deletes all of my Google (online) contacts and replaces them with new copies. All my Group settings on Google were cleared by this process. I made a couple of changes to my contacts in Address Book, and manually synced with Spanning Sync. At this point, my 29 Google contacts dropped to 17 contacts. I tried manually syncing a couple more times to see if it would fix itself. It didn't, so I deleted all of my Google contacts on the web side, and synced again. Now I have 0 Google contacts (online), and sync doesn't upload any contacts. I've tried changing the setting from Sync Both Directions to Sync To Google with no impact. Needless to say, I'm not happy with the upgrade. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Spanning Sync" group.
