mac osx 10.5.8 spanningsync v3.0 (416) after installing the update, i also experienced the very effective count duplicator ;-) i stopped the calendar and addressbook applications and restored the contents of /Users/<myuserid>/Library/Calendars as well as /Users/<myuserid>/Library/Application Support/Address Book from Time Machine, and then used the Advanced/Replace Data on Google now it is trying to sync things but failing with the following error:
