I am using caldav in ical as a temporary solution and it is working fine. once
the "delegates" appeared in the side bar I exported the calendar I wanted to
sync to an ics. file and then opened it to the desired delegated calendar. If
you do this only do one calendar at a time. The first time I tried 2 at once
and got a ton of popup error messages in ical rendering it unusable. If this
happens shut of your internet connection then re-add your google account in the
caldav settings. It worked fine the second time. However if you have a lot of
events to edit this may not be for you. I think is works best if you just have
a lot to add. I had to delete obsolete events which wasn't terrible, but if you
have a good bit it can be very time consuming. Overall this is a half-ass
solution, but at east my staff can see their work schedules! I just hope this
gets fixed soon...I know it is a problem on google's end, but hows about a free
lifetime license spanning sync (I only have the year)? After all i am your
customer because I did not want to deal with crap like caldav! I wanted
simple...
