Hi Eiko, The tandem parameters files are required to launch the search, and they need to have the ".xml" extension for Petunia to read them. The files you seem to be referring to are the tandem output files (which you will then convert to pepXML) which are the output of the search. What do you mean by "terminated in an unusual way"? What are the inputs that you are giving tandem, and what does it say in the error log? --Luis
