Well, your dump is messy. Your SuSe really does kdebug 5! I see that
the firmware was recognized. I understand you want to start SpeedTouch with
the boot, and you can see why I told you this was not a very good idea.
There is a timeout. When I have one, I repeat mi DIAL script. You have your
ppp-atm loaded and run, but the ISP did not answer. It may be a problem of
the ISP.
There is a site en.opensuse.org, with a SpeedTouch chapter. Have you
looked into it?
