I have a project that is a small bank. In the center of the bank, there is a raised area (20' ceiling; the rest is 9' ceilings). In this raised area, there is gyp board directly to the bottom of TJI construction. The rest of the building has a dropped ceiling so there will be heads in the concealed space. This raised area is slightly less than 800 sq ft. Do I need to calculate a full 3000 sq ft in this project for the raised area?
