Thanks, Craig, That's what I came up with also. I guess FM favorable is the same as NFPA Column A.
The storage arrangement is 40 oz. cups stacked inside each other 4 ft high on a pallet, shrink wrapped on four sides with a single layer of cardboard over the top. Per 15.2.8 you can interpolate based on storage height so at 18ft of storage you'd be at 1.0/2500. Plus 500 gpm hose. But also and depending on how the stuff is contained on the pallet you may be able to go to Column A @ the 0.6 at 20ft and interpolate that to .54/2500 at 18ft. Need to verify how the stuff is packaged onto the pallets per the definition of Solid Unit Load in NFPA 13. For ESFR 14K @ 75psi down to 25.2K @ 20psi or anything in between per Table 15.4.1 Alright, back to business, everybody man your BUCKETS!!!!!!!! Craig L. I find .6/2500 for favorable factors and it sends you in a circle for no favorable factors. NFPA is 1.1/2500 or ESFR. Something doesn't compute (probably me).
