Sprinklers are not required if it meets all requirements of NFPA 2002, section 8.14.6.2.

However, the TYCO CC sprinklers have their own restrictions on the application. Such as, to be used for light hazard only. If used with TJI's, the TJI space has to be filled with non-combustible insulation etc. What happens if these restrictions don't apply. Use standard heads? Or use CC heads regardless, as they are required by NFPA? What I have is a 24" to 36" deep crawlspace, the ceiling of which comprises of TJI's which are exposed to the space below. The insulation is on the floor and not in the TJI space. The building is a school, but specd. To be designed for OH 1. Any comments? Also, any other manufacturer's for CC heads?
