Actually NFPA 13 2002, requires the use of sprinklers specifically listed for 
CC spaces less than 36" deep. Section 8.14.1.6

You don't necessarily have to use "CC" sprinklers (Tyco nor Viking).These are 
required if you are attempting to use CPVC piping in this space , which it 
sounds like you are not.If OH1 then I would use Standard coverage/quick 
response sprinklers spaced @ 130 sq.ft.
