Good question. I have consciously changed two things concerning my
Squeezebox system:
- Enabled the Spotify plugins, found that spotifyd.exe was faulting,
assumed this was causing the unreliability and so disabled the Spotify
plugins once more.
- In an effort to resolve the reliability issues I have been seeing
(thinking that I'd be advised to do this once I'd asked a question on
here anyway), I also updated to the latest community supported LMS; I
was previously on the last supported Logitech version. It could be
that this has/will introduce new issues.
There have, of course, been Win10 updates on the machine during this
period. Nothing has changed concerning the router or VPN.
Ref. the ImageBrowser plugin, I don't even know what it is, it is just
something that got enabled at some point. I guess I probably don't use
it.
When I logged into www.mysqueezebox.com via the web interface, it said
that it had detected that I was in a different country to that I had
selected from the pull-down list (which is true as my VPN emerges in The
Netherlands) and that this might affect what I can do. I've modified
the routing now in order to avoid requests to www.mysqueezebox.com going
down the VPN, we can see if this helps.
